BT GAMES SAS YOUTH NATIONALS 2010
Every year youth sailors from around the country get
together for their annual South African Sailing (SAS)
Youth National Championship. This event is rotated
between the regions and attracts on average between 200
and 300 sailors at every level of ability, from novices
and first-time national event competitors to our top
youth that campaign for world championship and high
performance squad selections. Competitors as young as 7
years old up to the maximum age of 18 years old enjoy a
full week of competitive racing at international
standards as well as many fun activities off the water.

Spencer Fisher (LDYC junior ), Dylan Emmett ( LDYC junior skipper ) & JJ Van Niekerk ( Seal point junior ). Won the J22 class & were received second place overall on handicap at the recent Keelboat week hosted by DAC.
Dylan Emmett a junior from Lake Deneys Yacht Club has been
selected to represent South Africa Report Back Dylan was 9th overall, 5th African and 1st South African.
