I fully understand and accept that all activities are undertaken at my child’s/ward’s own risk, and that my child/ward should wear an approved life jacket at all times whilst on board the vessel.

I am aware that neither Lake Deneys Yacht Club nor its officers or members accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that the person or property of my child/ward may sustain whilst engaged in any sailing activity and waive any right that I or my child/ward may have to claim compensation against Lake Deneys Yacht Club or other members in respect of any loss, injury or damage incurred whilst engaged in any sailing activity howsoever arising and whether as a result of negligence or otherwise and I indemnify them against all claims.

I undertake to indemnify Lake Deneys Yacht Club for all loss or damage caused by my child/ward while using the above vessel whether such loss or damage is caused to the vessel itself or any other property belonging to Lake Deneys Yacht Club. I undertake that my child/ward shall return the vessel in a clean state and in good order, failing which I accept responsibility for the replacement or repair of the damaged property.
