LDYC Christmas cruise - 17/18 December
2005
The following members joined us on our cruise
this month:

on Holiday 23 - Tulloch
Once again all LDYC powerboat and yacht owners
were invited to join the Christmas cruise to VCA ( Vaal cruising assoc.). We
left LDYC in a light breeze at10am, sailed to VCA & arrived in time for
lunch on VCA moorings. The usual welcoming group from VCA welcomed us ashore
with complimentary drinks - thanks VCA !
Supper was a bring & braai accompanied by
christmas crackers,party hats & poppers sponsored by LDYC - thanks LDYC ! We
enjoyed clear weather till after dinner but the wind picked up in the
evening & rocked us to sleep.
Breakfast was kindly prepared for us by VCA
members & was outstanding to say the least.
We returned to LDYC in strong wind, sunny skies
& relaxed spirits.
We thank everyone who joined the cruise and look
forward to the next cruise - 11/ 12 March 2006
